How about survival shows.......

I have not seen Dual Survival but I am a fan of Cody Lundin. Bear Gryls and Les Stroud have had some decent shows. If I can learn at least one thing from any of these shows and then apply it, I feel that the time spent watching has been worthwhile.

Thats a good way to look at it.

Watched several episodes of the Dual Survival series last night......all in all I liked it.

Well, just about all of the shows are entertaining to me. Sometimes the advice given makes me cringe, though. Les Stroud, on the other hand, is the man. There is no better. He doesn't know it all, and doesn't claim to. He researches the areas that he plans to do a show in and hires a local expert to teach him about indigenous plants and animals and survival tricks. He then films his show and gives very good advice.

You can watch the Dual Survivor and Man, Woman, Wild episodes on youtube. The Colony also but that show just makes me mad. They're idiots.
