I think it depends. If you’ve got folks living there that commute to “Atlanta” for work, then you are probably in the metro area.

I thought my info said it was "NE GA"
And I certainly don't consider myself even close to Atl.
Maybe I'm wrong.

Well u got hwy 400 in your back yard the cancer has been spreading for years just like Jasper Ellijay& Blue ridge that area was ruined by all the folks that came north to escape the expanding urban sprawl. A house or cabin on very ridge they can stick one on these days.

I'm sure I miss some deals since I only look at ads listed in S.E. Georgia.
I figure I'm in Savannah and I really don't want to see 20 guns I want in the Atlanta area.
On occasion when I click on an area by accident and see and ad for something near me but listed in S.W. or East, Figure if they can't find themselves, I'll never find the for a meet.
