The pull-fire, release-fire was available in a kit for the Mini 14 over 10 years ago. It was called the "twin-trip" trigger. It didn't have a select mode, it was twin trip all the time while installed in the trigger assembly. You can also make it out of a staple from a big staple gun.

You can take a staple and put it in Mini 14 and it will double fire.once when pulled once when released. Google/youtube is yer friend
