Brace rule takes effect when published in the federal register (probably Tuesday). You're giving me a headache Chicken Little. Ultimately, it'll hit the courts and probably be shot down.

It was published in the FR last Friday.

As for why? It just bugs me when people try to take advantage of the less informed. If you don't fall into that catagory, then relax.




I never said anything about compliance. That's everybody's personal choice.

If you want to knowingly commit a felony that's on you. I'm not concerned at all.

ATF isnt the congress or house of representatives to make laws, they are there to enforce laws not to create them

They are allowed, by Congress to 'interpret' the laws. Specifically GCA 68 handed that authority to the AG, who has in turn handed it over to the ATF.

Ruling or interpretation by ATF is not law… HOLD THE LINE !!

They are... but it's really unclear whether they have the authority to do that. That'll be one of the first things to shake out of the various legal challenges at a guess.
