How many a-holes will be dumping braces and braced guns on here over the next week?

Just remember folks we need to get out and vote. Only voting and complying for now will fix this to where we can have our braced pistols without them being a sbr, but only after you comply and register it as a sbr. Also don't forget send more money to the Frenchman at the nra so he can help us by buying a new suit.

Just kidding. When they stack up to come get some bull**** pieces of plastic they better have level 4 plates.

I have high hopes that this will all be quashed in the courts. This is probably the worst ATF rule in decades, and that includes the bump-stock one.

Still, it is what it is. I'm not about to start shredding any braces I may or may not own, but the point of this thread was that it's pretty AMERICAN for folks to ignore the current legal situation around them.
FTFY. You whining about it and calling people out for not complying or not caring about it is just as sorry as the atf ruling. Folks that do stuff like that is why we are watching out rights get trampled.

But let me guess it's just chest thumping... 🙄 atleast many of us aren't being vague about what we own or denying what we own. If you aren't gonna stand for something even on a stupid internet forum you ain't ****.

You're correct, I shouldn't have followed you into the name calling thing. Apologies on that. We should be able to discuss things without sinking to that level.

This whole thread was started because I saw a few (newer) members post up braces and braced guns right after the ruling. To me that was simply taking advantage of folks that might not have seen the news.

Rubbed me the wrong way.

It is not illegal to sell a braced pistol since the rule has not been put into the registry. Do research before spreading misinformation

All previous ATF classifications involving “stabilizing brace” attachments for firearms are superseded as of [INSERT DATE OF PUBLICATION IN THE FEDERAL REGISTER]. As such, they are no longer valid or authoritative, and cannot be relied upon. However, firearms with such attachments may be submitted to ATF for reclassification.

I'm an old school fudd. I told my wife when Iraq kicked off the military I knew was history. An entire new generation of weapons, gear and warriors hit right as I was leaving the Infantry. I carried the M16 A-2 and own the AR15 version. I don't own braces or optics but if I was in that lane there's NO WAY I'd give the feds anything.

Yes, according to the new rule... Pretty sure it is.
Negative, their craziness states that any pistol with a brace on it is now considered a SBR. They give 3 options. Either pay tax stamp for an SBR and keep it, give Them your gun and brace for Free! Or it states simply take the brace off if I'm not mistaken.
