How many here use the 50/200 sight in on their 5.56 AR15 ?

I know the 25\300 sight in is popular for the 5.56 AR15, but our range in south fulton is 25, 50 ,100 ,200 in yards. I have a place I can setup and shoot a good bit farther ,but not till after deer season.

I'll be using PPU 69gr bthp match through an 18" Ranier Mountain CHF 1-7 twist barrel.

I use it for eotech. Everything else gets a 100 yard zero

I went with the 50/200 because I’ve got either 50 or 200 yard clearing on my property...

the problem is either the weather or my schedule has hindered me from actually checking to verify after using the 10yd target

With iron sights, the 50 yard zero gets you a perfect zero for about 212 yards.
It's less than an inch high at 200, and less than an inch low at 225.

And this is what I do--zero at 200 and forget it.

Neighbors cleared around 600 acres that backs up to my property line. Happy they left a 30yrd buffer of thicker pines and evergreens to keep the privacy between us...

so today they had a chopper spraying... now I’ve got an even longer distance range soon lmao!

I have 25/300 (near/far) meters on some iron sighted ARs. It's what I grew up with.

High Power rifles are different.

Yea. I've tried it multiple times at exactly 50 and exactly 200 on 6 Inch steel with multiple different loads and barrel lengths and it was never correct. Changed zero to 100 yards and had instant hits at 50,100. 200, and 300 with every round I had.

I'm sure it works for someone. I'm not that guy.
