How much to dig a small pond

If you build a small pond it will cost you money.

If you build a big pond deep enough to hide bodies in, you can charge for the privilege and get all your money back eventually.

I had a guy come look today and to dry up my bottom pasture we are doing something different. I don't care if it's a pond or trenches. I want to put animals back in my bottom pasture.. thanks for the advice.. I guess
Seriously good luck with the project , sorry to have hijacked the thread .

1.5 acres built as described above using a clay liner as Nonliberal Nonliberal described & removing dam area to build on a solid core with clay there as well. Quoted $15k 5-6 years ago with me providing one of the 2 dump trucks needed.
I had planned on about 20k but I think I'll just dry it up for now. I'm having a hard time bushhoggin and everything.. my biggest goal was trying to get cows in there and connecting another part of my pasture to it so I could add on. Thanks for the info though

Consider a fence as well if small kids live nearby or some insurance carriers may require once they look your property over every 3-5 years. I’m in a rural area.
