Now for the metal roof. Went with 26 gauge metal with all the trees around... there is about a 100' hickory tree tight above the cabin and lemme tell you, a hickory nut falling from 80' is LOUD on a metal roof... hopefully the spray foam will help with that.
We really have no clue! Ima say by the time its all over with maybe 7-10K. All the stainless hardware, cypress and spray foam.....This thing is obviously awesome, but I sure hope y'all didn't keep a tab on how much you spent.

Not as bad as I'd assume but I still say it's best if you do NOT have all the receipts.

Time for the door! We custom built this door and it is essentially solid. We have the cypress on the exterior to match the siding and rough cut hardwood on the interior to match. Core is 3/4" plywood. This bad boy is HEAVY! Prolly 200+ pounds. Mounted it on commercial, ball bearing hinges and it's butter smooth.
Found some cool, old door hardware on ebay too!

How bout some siding?? Had a bit of a time finding a sawmill with some cypress. Once we did, we covered the 2 biggest walls with lap siding. We went with ring shanked SS nails to keep it from streaking... hand nailed all the siding.
