I had raccoon tails (sure they were fake) on the grip of my handlebars.

If not playing cards, we did use balloons
against the spokes for motor sounds.
Tie end to fender brace then loop around
the brace a few times until desired amount
of pressure against spokes. Tighter made
more noise but shortened 'motor' life.
