I feel bad for those just into 'modern' arms.

Love my old guns. The 722 was made in 1951, The 78 in 1985, Ruger in 1964 and the Hi Standard between 1960 and 1963

All these old classic guns were once new guns also. Same as ar15s and mpx and scorpions. Most new guns are beautiful just like most old guns are beautiful. Like simeone else mentioned in 50 years who knows what kind of guns will be out and the psa ar15.lol will be the classic gun and you can tell your grandkids that you built it with your own hands. But i do love all guns. Old, new, ugly and pretty.

Got to fondle some all original 1873 Colt SAA's one time at an antiques sale.My o my what a rush.A friend has an all orig 1892 Win lever gun in 44-40 like a new one. That got my attention also

Old lever guns are my favorite! Seeing them in action in the ol'classic westerns is better than any modern gun. Also, if the south had been a few years ahead of time and production, there might have been a different outcome of the civil war!
