Yesterday, I hit a few gun stores looking for some ammo and reloading components (if there were any to be had). I stopped in one shop and noticed they had factory 7mm-08 on the shelf behind the counter. When I inquired what kind of 7mm-08 they had, store owner replies, "We have Hornady American Whitetail (20 boxes), Prvi Partizan (30 boxes), and another brand (I had never heard of)." I noticed there were 3 other boxes pushed to the back side of the shelf and asked about them. Shop keeper tells me they are 2 boxes of Fusion 140s and a box of Federal Premium ballistic tips. He said those pushed to the back of the shelf are not for sale unless someone buys a rifle. I asked if he would part with 1 box of Fusions, and he said No.

Simple solution would have been ask "okay, which rifles are on sale this week?"

Rotflol! I thought about that for a quick second, but already have several in that caliber, and the rifles they had in stock weren't anything that I would have cared to own.

All ammo is getting bought up around central Georgia. All calibers, even odd balls. I do not know of a shop around here that does not have very tight limits. I had to go to a shop around here 4 time to clean them out of 5.45x39.
