I picked up a Dead Wolf on I-20... then THIS happened.

What could have caused the fire?

Good luck with Skate Farm. They got me good years ago. Had an engine fire (also years ago) and travel with a big fire extinguisher now.

I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY thinking this is a BMW (dealership maintenance not corporate) problem, I am NOT going to settle with State Farm, BMW does not want my "flaming white blister" on the news. :)
And YES :thumb: I have already been looking at fire extinguishers (for the guy in front of me, not me... ever again...)... too funny. :)

Thanks for the offer... :) on your intructions (Thank You) I went outside Friday and got two pictures of "leakage" since my return from service. I always park in the exact same spot at home (because of where my charger is mounted) but it was a blue liquid:confused::confused::confused: Syntheic oil? blue? BMW makes it very dificult to check the oil on these, especially 36 hours after a full service why would I???

I know it was "fresh" because it has since washed away, we had a small shower Sat. morning...
