I think it starts way back for me as a kid. All the handguns I had been around since I was a kid had the firing pin in the hammer. So the way I see it, that's the way God intended it....Now that said, my first choice is the the old style with the firing pin in the hammer. But if they didn't make that model back then and I feel it's a good product with a very specific purpose, then I'll probably buy it if it's not just overwhelmingly expensive. And no, I hate the read owner's manual and extra safety crap on a weapon!!!!
