IF poop were to hit the fan........thought

I am gonna home stead as long as I can here cuz of fairly secluded location with water and a WMA across the street and hilly terrain but I need a few more people in my tribe, 2 sons and a wife that shoots straight isnt a enough. a Viking raiding party was around a dozen. so.... I do meet ups, lol

best Wiki fact from that article:

"Rodney King was awarded $3.8 million in damages from the City of Los Angeles for the attack. He invested most of this money in founding a record label, "Straight Alta-Pazz Records". The venture was unable to garner any success and soon folded."
I died laughing when I read that. Guy was a hardened criminal FFS, media painted him to be the victim, started a fkn war that killed over 50 people and cost nearly half of the Korean population of L.A. to say "peace out". and to top it all off, the taxpayers of L.A. had to pay that worthless sack of fecal matter for BREAKING THE LAW and getting his comeuppings (ok, so it WAS excessive force, to an extent). Meanwhile, that WHITE truck driver can never seek damages because the people that beat the hell out of him are a bunch of broke worthless stains too.

GRR, L.A. riots annoy me almost as much as WACO

Problem with your "homestead" is the same problem with any real estate...location, location, location. This is a population density map for Georgia.

People like you guys are more than welcome.

I live in a subdivision that has one road in/out has water completely segregating it from 2 sides with inlets splitting it further and 10+miles from the nearest interstate corridor. I'm willing to bet a lot of my neighbors will bug out and the reast should be "persuadable" ;)

I will be coming down through your neck of the woods near the lake if traveling on foot....please don't shoot me lol.

Its commonplace to ask someone "Where would you go in case of an emergency?" Ironically, 98% of them all say "North to the Mountains"....my question is what on earth do you intend to do up there? How do you intend to find food? water? Shelter? I don't think you have an "App" for that.

Why does everyone think mountain survival is the easiest? Inspired by Jerimiah Johnson maybe? Looks to me like a more temporate southern route would be the best. Walk around on a mountain top up here in the dead of winter and you won't find very much to gnaw on....and it's cold.

I think the mountain top thing comes from a map the USN did of probable earth changes
