LOL! Cmon down gents. We may have to cull the herd a bit but there's obviously water aplenty, fishing for sure and there are WMA hunting areas all over that picture. We'd surely need to do some domestic food raising but I think we could make it very defensible. And most of the houses are on/in hillsides. Mine for instance is split level with the lower level being 2/3-3/4 in ground. Makes for a strong, weather resistant "bunker" along the back, most of the front and one side.

head East and acquire a sail boat. hug the coast and work way down to the mouth of the Mississippi around florida. this would keep you from having to go thru population centers other than what's on Ga's east coast...as there's enough incredible fishing spots there to feed ya for years. water collection would be fairly reasonable as well. Down on the southern tip of Louisiana, there's a crap ton of gas / oil storage that perhaps you can tap into and not many people live there. Sail oat 'should' be easy enough to find as many will be abandoned and can get a large one and just live on that.
