Question- Has anyone dealt with purchasing a Shotgun from England?
How does this work with importing? FFL to FFL?
I've tried to do some research, but not sure about costs, taxes, etc. I've read some things about a Form 6, and also have read about the "Occasional Importer" permit. Just wanted to see if anyone has personally dealt with this, and maybe shed some light for me. Thank you.

I have not personally but know it’s very expensive and requires a special license I think forgotten weapons did a video on the process. I’ll try to find and link it

Edit:

I had to file paperwork with the state department in the 80s to get a Glock in Germany . Paid for it, left it and when the Gov approved it,I picked it up on the next run

I have been involved in importing shotguns from overseas.

You have to go through an FFL. I suggest you find one that has experience importing the type of firearm you are importing. I imported shotguns - so we went with dealers who specialized in shotguns.

Remember, you also have to deal with customs. That's where the FFL will help you out.
