Yeah, I understand. I am just the complete opposite though. I have always had to have something going…radio, tv, whatever… I guess it’s the way I was brought up.I tend to focus on whatever that simulation is. Music or video my little bb brain runs free playing word association.
It's strange because back in my military days I could sleep through anything. Our motto was "Eat when you can and sleep when you can because you never know when you'll get another chance"
I once slept through an earthquake and only woke up when people started hollering.
These days an ant sneezing can wake me up.
I was generally in a hospital or a setting with lots of people around doing stuff when I was a kid all through to my teens… so I got used to it really fast I reckon. now it’s just second nature. Me and the wife sleep on opposite ends of the house now. For the longest I had earbuds and she would have eyeshades on when we slept in the same bed. I had to have t.v. Or radio on and she needed it quiet ! Lol.
