That just means that they will last until your kids get them. Most people on here probable haven't shot 1,000 rounds in their life out of 1 gun.

Yeah, but for around $600 you'd figure it'd last a little longer before catastrophically failing. Not exactly something I'd want to pass to my kid.

Then there's this. AKs are known for durability, too. IO AKs aren't something you'd wanna take to a class. Unless of course you wanna be the class clown... On second thought, I'd take it to a Tactical Response class just to stomp on it in the dirt.

I "had" one, a Hellpup, to be exact. The factory mags are garbage, and quick realized a ak pistol was not meant for me.

I had one. The receiver expanded and contracted like lungs when I shot it.

I think they are actually dangerous. Stay clear.

I have no first hand experience with IO but I have read they come with a recoil buffer. Apparently to keep the bolt carrier from "jumping" off the rails. Any validity to this from anyone who has owned one?

Watch the ak operators union video on them. Generally I.O's are pretty low quality. Like I said the video explains it better than I do
