At $1.50+ a round, it's more American to own a 7.62x39 than a 30-06!

My very first firearm was a Mossberg 100ATR in 30-06. Now I have a Remington 1903A3 and Eddystone M1917. I also reload in that caliber as well. I'd really like to have an iron sighted Remington 700 one day.

I'd love to have a Garand one day as well, but as a reloader, I really hate chasing brass! lol. I tend to stick to bolt guns and revolvers.

I have no use for a 30-06. More deer missed or can not be found when shot with this caliber during hunting season at our club. ( too much recoil for no good reason )
