Is this a good deal?

Hardcase, manual, two 17 round mags and a warning label from Centerfire (USED or surplus firearm).

Initial impression: trigger is looong and strange feeling, kinda reminds me of my ol Daisy spring powered BB pistol, ya know the Berretta looking one ;) Ran 75 rounds through the unit (25 rounds each of three different brands of ammo), no failures, not issues. The trigger is SA/DA so first round is kinda like a revolver but there is no felt reset mid range in the trigger throw. If you hold down on the trigger you can single action the remainder of mag with very little movement. Strange but interesting as well. IDK, probably not a keeper, we will see after a few more trips to the range.
Shey

PS, the rubber bullet crap is just sour grapes from the manufacturer me thinks.

They even put "Perfection" on it. :pound:

It’s like Tara bought their first CNC machine, had a hardware store nearby and said **** it, we’re making a pistol.

Looks like they make select fire weapons too. To fire rubber bullets as well, I’m sure.

My dad bought 2 of these and tired one out this past Saturday and basically had the same results you did. What’s funny is that one pistol came in a hard case and and the other in a soft case. He said both looked to be in new unfired condition. He calls it his Tora! Tora! Tora! Pistols.

Ran another 75 rounds through, this time with 115 and 124 grain ammo, same results. The only thing I didn't mention is the mags are a bit hard to load, kinda wonky. Will not keep this unit only because Id prefer a compact version. Happy to move it along to another ODT member for what I have in the unit or trade for a similar make compact version. Maybe a Stoeger ST-9C. Enjoy.
