Any idea on what happen?

Not sure 100%, just rumors.

As an avid rider I hate hearing this.
Was this city Jasper or county Jasper? Can't find anything about it.

Same here, been riding on and off for 55 years. No more riding now due to my ankles. My understanding is that it was near city of Jasper. They were riding in the mountains with other bikers.
