just a random question

Usually when one puts a medium in a suppressor it quiets it down even more.some mediums are more jelly like and those usually work even better, but from my understanding and I could be wrong, only "wet suppressors" are made to have a medium put in them. I was under the assumption adding medium such as water or the jelly could be damaging or even dangerous in a typical "dry suppressor"

A LOT of guys on here know WAY more than I know about suppressors, so I'm sure one of them will chime in with the right answer if I am mistaken.

Here is the sites explanation if you click on the link.

"Using artificial environment and wipe technology along with a proprietary mono-baffle stack, the Poseidon features a unique two piece endcap design to seal in the end-user’s ablative medium of choice until the suppressor is used; thus eliminating a major downside of wet suppressors. In other words, your ablative medium won’t run out in your pocket or evaporate!"
