There's just something about commodities I don't like. I can't quite put my finger on why.

Simple: corruption in the CTC. for example, selling a trade instrument for a commodity that doesn't even exist.

Not a whole lot to report just yet. It took about 3 business days for the money to transfer in to my account and it was done in 2 separate withdrawals. $250 went in to a "growth position" eREIT and the other $250 went in to an "income position" eREIT. That is currently spread out among 20 various projects, one of them being an apartment complex local to me which I thought was neat. As of today I have made .09 cent.

Are any of the properties Fundrise has you invested in local to you?

As of today, I'm up one whole U.S.A. dollar. I have read a few negative reviews about people investing large amounts of money in Fundrise at one time. The impression I get is it is an allocation issue and you have more control by auto-investing smaller amounts on a schedule.

My interest has currently migrated over to cryptocurrency so I will probably just leave this be for the time being.
