I just moved out of Atlanta to get away from the overcrowding and overdevelopment. Newnan is growing and Coweta County wants a portion of Chatt Hills for "green space." Nope. If you've driven the area you'll see that subdivisions are going up everywhere and decimating the green spaces that were once there. Cities and counties want the revenue and taxes will continue to rise. I'm not sure if Heard County is far behind. Many of the folks I talk to on the subject have or are looking in Alabama. There never seems to be enough development for the greedy hands of government and rich real estate investors. They don't care about us at all. It is all about the benjamins.

I’m of the mindset that the deforestation, combined with roof tops and asphalt parking lots are doing more to change the climate than planes, trains, and automobiles…

Dude. This infuriates me. First it was poplar rd and these nonsense roundabouts…then this. The county commissioners and those involved should be ashamed of this crap. But they are paid off and will retire to their farms in Alabama so who cares about the logistics and damnation of what used to be a nice place to live..amIright!! I’m absolutely fed up.

Define Minority…. Is that where there are fewer of one race than another? Like in Douglasville? Last I heard was 61% minority now….

its my understanding we are in housing shortage, 1000 units won't put a dent in things lol. We also still all the people from the WEST moving into the cheap south.
