K & L frame Smith & Wessons lets see them!

They make sense to me on a snub, especially for concealment

They fit my hand better than anything else I have tried as well - I have smallish hands anyway.

I could see how the a 4"+ gun might not balance well with them...they are also the lightest grip you can get for a round butt. Probably why most 4" guns were square butts originally - the shape alone helps offset the weight of the barrel.

As promised, my 65-5;

K's & L's, you say...Okay, I'll "Play"...here are some rather "Uncommon" L-Frames...

i17.photobucket.com_albums_b62_mikey357_Album_205_DSC_0379.jpg

...from Top Right to Lower Left, they are a Model 520 in .357, a Model 386 ScTi in .357, a Model 646 in .40 S&W and a Model 242 in .38 Special...all with Ti Cylinders...and let's try THIS...three 686 "Pluses", all in NON-Standard Barrel Lengths...a Three-incher, a Five-incher and a Seven-incher...The Seven-inch gun is particularly UNCOMMON...depending on who you believe, there were anywhere from 67 to around 300 made in the "Dash Five" variation, BEFORE the CURRENT "Talo" Dash Sixes came out!!!...

...hope you ENJOY....mikey357

dangit, I think mikey357 is taking this personally... :-D Those are some nice blasters I'm really digging that 520 and 646. I had a chance to pick up a 696 for $400 once and am kicking myself for not getting it.

Any of you guys selling any of these?

I was wondering the same thing. A couple years ago I decided to get rid of a kind of uncommon 581. Definitely uncommon in about 98% condition. My dad told me later he would have given me the money to hold on to it until I wanted it back after I showed him a picture of it. I've loved the L frames ever since. Just let me know when you want to sell that 686 CS 1 Wheeler. I'm right next door in Hoschton with cash set aside for it.

Derrick, nice one to pick up. I am going to post my 15-3, but I am still working on it. It has the wrong grips, and needs a little more polishing, but here it is.
