I’m a buckeye fan and I think Kirby is one of the top 5 or so coach’s. He just has to get past losing games he shouldn’t. He has made some stupid mistakes but I think a NC is in the near future for him. The dawgs do need to get something figured out on offense. The defense won’t shut out every team the play this year.

Young team with a shaky defense. They could get it together and still win out. A loss to Oregon can be forgiven. A loss to another team this season, probably not.

Richt started out Year six 6-4. get back with me after Georgia plays Tennessee this season.

Also Richt's last 7 seasons: 64-39 .684

So Kirby has increased Georgia's win% by over 100 points since arriving.

The offense looks good and will get better with each game. The defense, not so much. DC Coombs is on the hot seat. Some changes are in the works. I’m not sure what though. Coombs is a great recruiter and DB coach. He’s not cut out to lead a defense at this point.

Exactly. If the bucks lose another game they will be out even if they win the conference.

LSU won a NC with the worst D1 coach in history. Les Miles. And another with Orgeron who I don't think anyone would say is a top 5 coach.
UGA has had more talent over that same time span. "Sum tin is wong" in Athens....

UGA has beaten out LSU on recruiting class way more years than not. So what happens after they show up on campus?
It's easier to get drafted when you're on a championship team.

i dont take recruiting classes as gospel as some do. I'd rather take the advice on the guys who invest millions and millions of dollars on getting it right.
