That is fresh Butterball price. Look lower in ad for frozen Butterball at $1.29.


I looked at the ad and told wife that was confusing the way it is laid out. We always hunt cheap bird.

My Piggly Wiggly has standing rib roast for $5.99 lb. I'm going to check them out and see what they look like. Probably Mexican beef but that's not always bad. I ended up buying 2 turkeys at Food Lion for $.49 lb. I got volunteered by my girlfriend to cook turkey for her family this weekend. I'm going to try my first bird in the Char Broil Big Easy oil less fryer. If it doesn't turn out good I'll never get voluntold again.

I like to do mine with baby carrots, Yukon potatoes, Pearl Onions, Shrooms and baste like crazy with garlic infused butter
