I know that Henry still holds at 200 yards of dwelling,not 100% on the state but at one point it was the same.Most counties goes by the state and reword in their own ways.Cities on the other hand well what can I say about them ****** hahahahahaa

There is no State Law on distance for target shooting only hunting, which is 50 yards from a public roadway. Target shooting is left up to the local City or County Ordinances. I can speak for Walton County which only says not permitted in R-1 zoned residential area. Other than that as long as it's done ina safe manner and on your own property or permission of property owner that no problem.
