Went to AO a few years ago for an ammo sale ,when they had pallets of 223. They are on the same level as academy in Newnan . Just a dab will do :-(

So what about the police trade ins?...worth even driving to check out?

They have some decent ones, but you can find the same things for a bit less on line. Of course then you're trusting the vendor, whereas at the store you can sort through a few to find a good one so long as you aren't there on a rainy Saturday when the counter is three deep. Best time to check out trades is during the slow times.

They have a good deal on the Kahr PM9s right now, and some decent prices on old police issue revolvers.

Only looking for glock at the moment...is it usually just the pistol or do they come with the normal stuff any retailer would have?...ie mags, box, lock, etc

Police trade-ins usually just come with the gun and the mag in a generic box. They will throw in the lock since that's SOP, but don't expect to get the full factory kit. I can;t say that's always the case, but the two G22 trade-ins I've bought have been that way.
