Looking for a good FFL dealer

I've got a buddy that collects highly collectible, high dollar rare runs. Much of those have never had the slide racked, bolt touched, etc outside the factory. I get the draw to having someone not fondle your stuff. When you pay lots of money for something b/c it hasn't been shot or even finger banged, you want it to stay that way.
Yeah, that would be a good reason to go with a small shop where you don't run the risk of some young and dumb employee finger banging it.

I feel like as an FFL holder its your responsibility to make sure the transferred firearm is at least clear. Ive seen a loaded gun get transferred with one in the chamber. if the customer was to go pick it up and it goes off who's fault is it? If its something coming in that you don't want finger banged its YOUR responsibility to at least inform the FFL to please not open it until YOU get there. And you better be there within FFL Guidelines to log it.

Redx, I was supporting my local dealer, but he's deciding to close down shop. None of the other people/dealers in my area do I 100% trust to not manhandle my guns when they come in. I've had some very nice ones that come in that are rare, never been shot, never racked, never dry fired, or even hammer cocked. I want them to stay that way is all. The shooters I buy...couldn't care less, but the nice ones, just want to know they are the way I bought them. Don't want to sound like a PITA, but just particular.
To bad your not close to Athens. Sporting Arms in Winterville. $10 transfers. When they receive for you they do not open the box. You do when you pick it up.
