True prep is a solid choice. Hard to beat Cherokee gun for me since they are just a few miles away but truprep has some of my money in the register as well!

I think Forsyth gun and pawn may do free transfers but not sure. They may be closer to you.

How are the folks at trueprep? Do they molest the guns when they come in or just verify correct serials and not touch the gun at all?

TruPrep- David kicks ass and will cut you at least 10% of the sticker price. And they are growing still.
CG&P-****... the original no charge to transfer FFL. I say no charge because, as I’m sure someone has already said, intend to drop at least a Franklin or two...

even that won't do. I've gotten brand new Colt 1911's covered in oily fingerprints and the bore looks like someone just shot a whole mag through it.
Going to have to be your own manufacturer.
