Looks like I'm moving...

My ex-girlfriend was from the Gulf Coast part of Mississippi and we visited there and traveled the area so that she could show me the sights. I think it's a great place to be IN RETIREMENT, so long as you don't have to count on having a job --because unemployment seems to be an issue unless you're involved in the gaming/casino industry.

Awesome. We are about 4 hours north of you. Moved to Woodland,MS a few months ago.

I drove down there in the FIAT, the weekend before last. 6 hours in that car made me realize that I need a extra padded car seat. But once I was down there, it was great driving with the top down.

Hey, FJR, if you need somebody to ride your motorcycle out there for you, give me a call. I like riding distances-- when I've got a bike that doesn't leak coolant overheat or drag the brake!!

(Did an 1100 mile ride in June,
finishing it in 24 hours. Rode nonstop, except for gas and bathroom breaks, twice to or through southern Mississippi-- once going all the way to New Orleans and halfway back in one day.)

I don't have a motorcycle. And other than my butt being a little sore from sitting in that car, drove most of the way there and back with the top down. Next time I drive down, I'll probably do all back roads. Too many idiots on the main highway.
