My son found a puppy wandering around his apartment complex yesterday in the sub-freezing temperatures, and being the soft touch he is, he brought it in. He's not able to keep it since his work and school schedule won't let him give it the care he needs. So, my wife and I drove to Henry County and brought him home to Marietta until he can find a "forever home". However, our dogs want nothing to do with him and our Shepard tried to attack him.
He's a sweet and loving puppy, we think around 5 or 6 months old. I stayed with him last night in the basement, and he just curled up next to me all night.
We contacted other rescue groups and they can't take him, so unless he finds a home by tomorrow, we'll have to contact animal control.
