That's true. For now. But if the Feds say they're not prosecuting it, it looks like, once again, that the ATF just wants to do it's own thing. Other than out of irrational hatred for weed, I'm not sure why anyone would support this move.

It was in USA TODAY. A letter from Asst Director Authur Herbert to all FFL's to ADVISE them of what to do if a customer reveals to them that they use marijuana. According to this letter" any person who uses or is addicted to marijuana, regardless of whether his or her state has passed legislation authorizing the use of marijuana for medial purposes, is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance, and is prohibited by federal law from possessing firearms or ammunition." Now, bear in mind, I don't want a stoner in the woods any more that anyone else but at what point is enough? What else will they add to the list of no-no's?
