Wasn't this on a popular movie a few years back " boys under the hood". Oh wait that was boys in the hood?
Maybe "Buried in the HOOD" or "Dead on the Hood", "Hoodies under the Headlights"

So police shouldn't be allowed to chase a runner while in a vehicle?
Where's the part of the story that says why the suspect ran? Because I'll bet you right now that the seatbelt was the probable cause for a stop on suspicion of something much worse. And the fact that dude ditched and ran tells me whatever it was he was probably guilty of it.
And if you're not smart enough to turn 90º to the right to out maneuver a car in the grass and not agile enough to run without falling sucks to be you I guess. Maybe you shouldn't run from the cops then.
Chase, yes. Run over, no.
Totally. He probably had something else incriminating in the car. Key word being PROBABLY. Last time I checked, in the United States of America, we don't execute people for possibly committing a crime. We have this neat little thing called "due process," based on this silly notion that people are "innocent until proven guilty."
I'm certainly not saying the dude was innocent and, In fact, I'm inclined to believe he's not. Regardless, he was an American citizen with rights. So while you see some thug meeting his swift end, I see an American who's life was taken from him without trial by a reckless officer.
I'm sure most of you are familiar with the castle doctrine here in GA. You can't kill someone who is running away, and neither can the police. A seatbelt violation and some possible contraband don't justify the taking of a human life. Stop being so cold.
I didn't say that, but you just don't run people over with cars. Get your fat, donut eatin ass out of the car and do your job. WTF is wrong with people thinking it's ok for the Po Po to run people over with cars? He didn't kill or rob anybody, for Christ sake, he wasn't wearing his seatbelt. . . . .DAMN
neither one of them saw the fence until it was too late.
