I have a friend of a friend that runs a masters pool every year. They are always looking for new people to play and this year you can actually send in money through paypal (first time in ten years) much more convenient for anyone outside of augusta.
Entry Fee is $20 1st place wins 70% 2nd- 20% 3rd- 10%
Team: Pick 15 golfers and list them in your preferred order. The first 10 are your team and the
next 5 are your alternates. The alternates are needed in case someone from your top 10 does
not compete in the tournament. All competing golfers are eligible to be chosen.
Rules: The team with the lowest score to par wins. There is a 10 stroke penalty for missing the
cut, withdrawing after the cut or being disqualified after the cut. If your golfer withdraws or is
disqualified prior to finishing either the first or second rounds, the golfer's score will be 1
stroke higher than the cut line plus a 10 stroke penalty. In the event of a tie, if the champion of
the tournament is a member of one of the teams in the tiebreaker, that team will be declared the
winner. If more than one of the teams in the tiebreaker chose the champion of the tournament,
those teams will split the pot. If no team in the tiebreaker includes the champion, all split the pot.
Five bonus strokes are subtracted from your team's score if you choose the tournament champion.
