Here's a thought or suggestion. I just finished reviewing the "Everything Else" area of the classifieds. I noticed one person had posted about 33 (57 items in all classifieds) items today and another had posted 8. I know this doesn't happen very often in the gun forums, but it does in some of the other classified sections. I'm interested in others thoughts to see if there is a need to limit the number of items any one person should be able to have listed at a given point in time. Perhaps no more than five items listed at any point in time? If one of those five items is marked as gone, then you would be able to list another item. OS, is this even possible from a technical point of view? Ok, so let everyone know your thoughts on this.

Why does someone selling stuff on a website devoted to selling stuff bother you?

Thanks for your comment! Maybe it shouldn't bother me? I thought this site was more intended for gun enthusiasts, than for someone to operate their business (possibly a pawn shop?). I'm fine with people posting in the classified, as I visit them frequently, and I have listings myself from time to time. I also feel those who like to post (or over post in some cases) should at least be a site supporter. One other thought, the person that posted the 57 items, had one comment/response to their posts.

This joint is just a giant blog. That you can advertise anything makes it a giant craigslist. It's up to the MODs to decide what can and can't be advertised, and they have decided on guns, ammo, and "everything else." So, expect what you pay for. Silly that people do.

Not a big deal to me who's trying to sell what, or how much. I don't sell - just peruse the ads and mostly buy. It's the classified section - I enjoy seeing what's out there.
You asked for opinions...there's mine.

Another just trying to limit the rights of another. Worry about global warming or something that will really scrw us up, like Omummer

It would be OK with me if ALL the PAWN shops listed their stuff here. I would save a lot of gas money.

This is a forum where people can but and sell guns. Not sure why you would want to limit someone's ability to use the forum for the purpose it was intended. If it bothers you, just stop reading the classifieds or block the person that annoys you.

The OP is right! It's clearly, and let me be very clear, simply a case of advertising inequality. It is not fair that some have so many ads and others have so few, or worse, even none. We can do something to rectify this! YES WE CAN!

I think we need a government program to investigate and put an end to advertising inequality.
