Definitely no on the subsonic 5.56. Might as well be shooting a heavy 22lr round.Do you think it would be better to build a .300 purposefully for a can, and occasionally shoot light target rounds if you wanted?
Or try to get 5.56 slow enough to be an effective suppressed round. Im genuinely interested.
I know others have probably been more successful than me, but I have trouble getting a 300 to shoot both supers and subs reliably without an adjustable gas block. Mine are dedicated to shoot either subs or supers.
