Mil spec

I think the issue really stems from most people just not understanding or having enough knowledge on the matter. Any manufacturer can build a rifle to Mil-Spec standards or better. All the manufacturer is saying is that their rifles are built to meet or exceed a specific set of standards as set forth by the Military. Not that their rifles are exactly the same as what is issued to the military.

Colt owns and is the only company with access to the TDP. Everyone else is simply guessing.

theyre letting you know WHICH type of parts fit. Not telling you its a military weapon. The English language uses the same words for different meanings based on Context... consider this a CONTEXT definition and then you wont need medication for your OCD.
