MOA vs MIL

I never used MILs (except in Field Artillery, and that MILs is different than MRAD) until a friend asked me to help him understand how to use his new MRAD scope with a 6.5 Cre. I read up on the topic and mounted a Trijicon optic with reticule in MRAD on a .308 rifle and it really wasn't as complicated as I'd thought. I use both but prefer MRAD now because of the reasons mentioned above. It's more common now to see shooters using MRAD optics on the line when shooting at distances greater than 500 yards and you need to "speak" the same language that they are using.
The ridiculousness of the whole thing hit home when I was helping a member at the club zero a rifle scoped with an older Leupold (If memory serves) scope whose turret adjustments were graduated in MOA but the reticule pattern in the glass was MRAD.

Any idea of how many MOA shooters there are at the KO2M? Almost zero.
A pro shooter can’t hold the difference. It’s 0.11 of an inch difference.
And that's a worst case scenario with your rifle that shoots literal 0 moa groups and is closer to the zero of an moa reticle vs. a mil reticle. .11" will be the worst you could ever expect.
The tiny center dot of the reticle I use the most is .16 moa.
Every single precision shooter disagrees but okay
Not all, I know some high level shooters that shoot MOA, but these are mostly F-Class guys, or folks that have come over to ELR from F-Class.
Any idea of how many people reading this will go to the KO2M? Almost zero.
What shooters do at 2 miles does not necessarily apply to "regular" shooters.
