Mosin PU scope mount and base

Have any of you used the reproduction Mosin PU scope mount and base? I want to put one on one of mine with the PU bolt I had done and was wondering if they are worth it. I just don't want to drop the serious coin for an actual WWII mount and base.

Not sure if you want to go this route or not but Classic Firearms has a scope mount for the Mosins that goes over the bolt. They are $40. Scroll down the page on the link below. I have fired my brother-in-laws Mosin with a scope and this mount and it works pretty well. They also sell Mosin sniper rifles whith the Tula made scopes and mounts for $399.

I have a Mosin that is basically an "ATI" rifle now, and I can say that I am not a huge fan of the ATI rail mount for scopes over the bolt that is tapped into the top of the receiver.
I have shot a couple of Mosins with the repro mounts and scopes, and I liked them, no complaints, but I don't have any long term exposure to them, so there may be pitfalls I did not get a chance to notice. For the money, I would probably try a repro, and then look elsewhere if I was disappointed.
