IF you can differentiate between gills and not...chanterelles are probably the safest wild shroom to pick and eat. but yes, 100%

I have 2 varieties of chanterelle that grow in my yard...and I like to harvest the red or crimson small ones around the upper Chattahoochee in the summer when I am kayaking with my dad.

chanterelles also smell like apricots. it is impossible to mistake.

Confirmed. Sauté with butter and cheese live oil, salt and pepper and enjoy.

A lot of joking about it in this thread but in all seriousness, psilocybin was the only thing I ever took in my life that made me see things that weren’t actually there. LSD, peyote, MDNA, moly, etc would enhance with tracers, delays, accelerations and what not but mushrooms delivered real hallucinations. Vividly accurate hallucinations. Anyone else?
