I'm dealing with a little guilt even though I know I shouldnt feel any cause my boys safety is number 1 but I cant help but feel that maybe I should of let someone who don't have kids take him but who knows what would of happened. Better safe then sorry.

I suppose second guessing is normal but that doesn't mean it's useful. You did the right thing and given his condition you likely saved him future suffering...

yeah i know ur right. Today was a busy day so kept our minds off of like all things it'll get better in time.

One thing I've learned is that dogs will love and protect your family UNCONDITIONALLY! Much better than most people I know. A great dog can never be replaced, only a new chapter can be written when you open your heart again. Prayers to your family, past and present.
