My daughter needs a kidney transplant

My brother in law is giving a kidney to his brother tomorrow. He's had kidney problems for the whole of his life due to the agent orange his father was showered in, like so many others, during his 2 tours in Nam. Passed it on to his third born some 30+ yrs. later. The two oldest where not effected.

Let me know how it works out. Thankful for their sacrifice for this nation.

Call the kidney folks at Emory. We had their number given to us from CHOA from my daughters Nephrologist/Pediatrician

Well, looks like I'm a perfect match for my daughter. Just got the call from the transplant coordinator. Waiting on the 2nd donor to be tested tomorrow with the results next week. We will know by the 2nd week if June to see who the donor will be. Keep praying for clarity and peace and we move forward. You guy rock.

No I didn't yet. The transplant team is looking at dates in June for my daughters transplant. The second donor will have her results Wednesday. I'm cleared to donate, just waiting on her results to decide.
