My new truck. Ford F 150 Lariat.

The salesman asked why I decided to go with this VS the Tundra I was looking at. I said the all aluminum body that's standard on all F 150s. Daddy don't like rust. That and the money stays in America for Americans to spend in America. I've always had a liking for toyotas for their reliability but over the years Yotas have become less reliable and the Fords a little more so.
Uh, Tundras are made in Texas.
Sadly you are correct about this last gen Tundra. The non hybrid F150 appears to be the best of the worst.

Thank you. :) Crimson tide red. ;)
It is a nice color. I have at least one uncle in law that doesn't drive much either. He has a 41 Ford and a Dodge with a Cummins. He bought the truck new in the 90s. At one point after a cold winter, he had to have the fuel system gone through. From lack of use, the fuel gelled in it. I bet that truck doesn't have 50k miles on it

I did have to turn off all of the driver assist bull **** on this vehicle though. NO, I don't need the vehicle driving for me so I can sleep on the interstate!!!! LMAO. Go into a curve and you could feel the steering wheel trying to steer for you. NOPE!!!
I've driven my Dad's Lexus, it's like that. Hate it!!

Nice truck but I am going to keep driving my 2001 f-350 7.3 power stroke.
Just like my Dad. He was talking about a new one. His needed a trany. I told him to fix his truck and drive it!!! His is a 99, I think. 7.3 diesel. It's actually a decent truck. Been a work truck all it's life. Been on some long trips recently in it. Still runs good with @ 200k on it. It'd cost $100k or more to replace what he has.

The original F150 Lightning......
