Looking to buy a used 4x4 side by side (not four wheeler).

Any strong opinions?

I have seen a few used for sale looked to be rode hard and put up wet.

I am not looking for something to work on just crank and go. To be used at farm.

What the best and worse and what to look for?

Thanks

I have a Polaris Ranger. It seems to be well built and hauls like a truck. Each of their models are made different. Get one that has the engine under the bed not the seat. It puts out a lot of heat from that area.

Kawasaki Mule, 3010.

We found one lightly used last Thanksgiving for granddad.

He’s already wore out 2- 2510 Mules over the last 20 years.

I’m sure one of either would have lasted you a lifetime.

Have you checked out the Japanese mini-trucks? When I find the piece of land I'm looking for, I'm going for one of those. Enclosed cabin, heater, 4wd, and very quiet. And you can find one in decent shape for around $6-7000.

Kubota if you want utilitarian. Polaris Ranger if you want a workhouse that is enjoyable to operate. Kawasaki Mule if you want an enjoyable utility vehicle. Gator if you just want a Gator. Avoid the Big Box store stuff. Honda Pioneers are nice but cost a little more in some cases.
