Need ideas for a mailbox post

Hey guys and gals, It's time for me to replace my mailbox post and I was looking for ideas. I would like to make it something unique so that as I give directions I can say" the house with the____mailbox".
Any thoughts?

check PO reg. I think on right of way, your responsible for damage caused by box. Could be just state roads. I think 4x4 break away is reg. But what the hell, they shouldn't be in your yard with their car.

My previous post was the standard aluminum one you buy at the big box store and some wingnut with a baseball bat decided to smash it one night while he was bored. The next day a took a 6" piece of PVC and sank it in the ground 2'. Then I spray painted the PVC black and filled it with cement. Last step was mounting the mailbox to it. Sadly I have yet to get any satisfaction from it. Still patiently waiting to hear the screaming as he hits the cement pole with his bat.
