Yes its a serious question. Along with the horseplay and joking there are also good words of wisdom on the ODT, and many members here have already shared them with me. Can't blame those who pick on me for it either, I would likely do the same thing if I saw a thread like this. (and I did overplay the SWIM thing) If I didn't care what you guys had to say I wouldn't have asked.

If she really means that much to SWIM, hell should not be able to stand between them.

Hmm. A conundrum for sure. I usually tell ppl that all's fair in love and war. Especially when you talking about possibly spending forever with someone, there will hopefully never be another closer relationship than with the girl. I think almost everything is worth risking for a chance with that person.
If Swims friend views Swim as a brother too, he'll have no problem with Swim pursuing that sort of a relationship with the girl.
If he does have a problem with it, Swims friend sounds like a selfish person, and not one to view as a brother.

Really good advice here. The stakes are pretty high in this game.

Haha, true. But strange is easy to come by and if I just wanted to get laid there are much easier ways to do it. Im drawn to this girl for a lot more than just her pretty face and tight little ass.

That would be the logical thing to do. Its hard to actually do it though. You would appreciate this vanguard: I don't often discuss my religious beliefs but I have asked God for a sign as to what I should do. Haven't really seen an answer yet except a few fortune cookies that told me to go for it. lol

Dude, just go for it, life is to short to pass up a good thing, love has a much stronger bond then friendship, it sounds like you are a young guy and I can tell you that in life many friends come and go but if you find the right girl she will be by your side for life. As you said your friend has a new girl and has moved on and if he wants to hold you back from being happy he's really not a true friend.
