Needing a barrel shortened, Where to go?

OK, so im going to build an AR pistol and have a barrel I would like cut down. Where do I need to go and how much do I plan on spending? I live NW ATL. I will also need it threaded after it is cut down.

Another question is there a price difference in normal barrel compared to stainless as far as modifying goes? Thanks for the help in advance!

I'd contact Tornado Tech. I know they do both of those services, well. Soviet had a barrel threaded there recently.

That's right. They moved recently and I don't think they have their rifle machines back up yet.

How much are you looking to shorten your current barrel? Only reason I ask is if the gas system is calibrated for a longer barrel length shortening it could result in some major issues for functioning it with any degree of reliability.
