isn't Hi-Point a bit chunky & heavy for a carry gun?
Think H-P has a 10 round mag for C-9/CF380.
Some have tried longer carbine mags which seem
to have feed problems. Some may argue with a lil
target practice the 8 round mag should be enough.
If not, have a 2nd 8 rounder in your pocket. Nice job
building the long john mag. Instead of doing that I
took the grips off and painted them flat dark brown.
Kind of a faux wood affect, better traction and breaks
up all that mono-black. While the right grip is off easy
to lift out the mag disconnect bar. Looks like they planned
it that way. I could be wrong, has happened before. Twice
already this year and it ain't even March yet.

Good gawd man....
I have 2 C9s and about 8 mags for them. Two of them are the real ugly 10 round "Battery Pack" mags and two are 10 round carbine mags I just wound up with. The carbine mags fit in the pistols fine. I have hand cycled several rounds through both pistols with them and they did fine. Live fire feeding may be a different deal.
